Day 14: Hero that has let you down

Well, this idea comes up when I saw my youngest brother watch TV on Sunday. A whole day spent only in front of it. One of TV program that He watched –I forgot the title- is something, kinda robotic things. So whatever!

And suddenly, my mind jump into memory on my childhood when I also spent my Sunday at home just watching TV all day long. And I used to favorite Power Ranger. They were so cool, brave and sophisticated. But as time goes by, and as I grow up, Power Ranger become less interesting. In addition, there are so many competitors. For worse, it’s just Ranger ‘abal-abal’.


i used to be Yellow Ranger. my oldest sister Pink Ranger and my younger brother Red Ranger (at the time Amal and Nia was not born yet). when the program begin, we usually act like them. We remember the style of 'berubaaah...Poweeer Rangeeer'. we also remember the sound of their clock when chaos come. we love Zordon and Alfa.

As a child, I feel disappointed because Power Ranger no longer exists. No innovation. The plot of story is flat. but, the theme is changing every session. there are Power Ranger Rescue, Power Ranger SPD, Mistic Force, etc, which is hard to remember.
 And, finally it was beaten by other robotic film that has more sophisticated technology, colorful form of robot model, and so on.

Yes. I miss Power Ranger.
